The European Space Agency , the European Broadcasting Union and the 5G-EMERGE partnership project invite you to a full-day workshop bringing together the leaders shaping the future of satellite and media delivery.
5G-EMERGE has spent two project phases developing and testing the technology that lets satellite, terrestrial and 5G enabled networks work as one system for delivering audiovisual and connectivity services, from broadcast-grade content distribution to connectivity in unconnected and contested environments. This workshop is where those results meet the market.

Afternoon – Phase 3, implementing the M.A.R.S. strategy
Access to reliable information and trusted content is essential for a functioning and prosperous society especially in times of crises. Relying on a single infrastructure to deliver essential services can lead to critical situations during emergencies. The M.A.R.S. strategy aims to mitigate these and other issues by advocating for infrastructure combinations that are Multilayered, Anywhere, Resilient, and Sustainable, for all at scale.

WORKSHOP REGISTRATION PROCESS

2. Review by ESA - All applications to attend the event will be submitted to ESA Security Office for security checks. To ensure timely approval of the applications we ask all candidate participants from outside of ESA Member States to please submit their registration application by 15 September 2026.
3. Acceptance - Accepted registrants will receive an official acceptance e-mail.
